1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Liberado (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These Terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is handled.

2. What Liberado is

Liberado is a personal finance tracking app. It helps you log spending, triage transactions, track discipline streaks, and view metrics such as Freedom Days. It is a tool for your own records, not financial advice, tax advice, investment advice, or a substitute for professional counsel.

You are responsible for how you interpret and act on information shown in the app.

3. Eligibility and lawful use

You must:

  • Use Liberado only for lawful personal purposes
  • Be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live (typically 18+, or the age required in your jurisdiction)
  • Only store and sync data you are entitled to store (your own finances or data you have permission to manage)

You must not:

  • Use the app for fraud, money laundering, or any illegal activity
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the app or related services
  • Misrepresent your identity or interfere with other users’ systems (Liberado is single-user, local-first)

4. Your account, device, and data

4.1 Local-first design

Your ledger and settings are stored on your device unless you enable optional backup or sign-in features described in the Privacy Policy.

4.2 Sign-in and third-party services

If you use Google Sign-In or Google Drive backup, those services are provided by Google under its own terms and policies. We do not control Google.

You are responsible for:

  • Securing your device, OS account, and Mindful Lock PIN
  • Managing your linked Google account and cloud backups
  • Any data you choose to sync to your cloud accounts

4.3 Backups and restore

Optional backups copy your local database to your Google account. Restoring overwrites or replaces local data as directed in the app. You are responsible for keeping backups you trust before restoring or resetting.

4.4 Reset and deletion

You may reset app data or uninstall at any time. Uninstalling generally removes local data unless copies exist in cloud backup. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Purchases (if enabled in your build)

Some versions of Liberado may offer a one-time lifetime purchase (“Iron Gate” / lifetime toll) through Google Play:

  • Pricing is shown in the store at purchase time
  • No subscription is required for the lifetime option described in the app
  • Purchases are processed by Google, not charged directly by us
  • Restore Purchase may be available to re-enable access on a new device tied to the same Google Play account
  • Refunds follow Google’s refund policies; we do not control store billing

When in-app payments are disabled in a build, the app may be offered without that purchase flow.

6. No professional advice

Liberado does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Calculations (e.g. Freedom Days, runway, discipline metrics) are for personal organization and motivation only. You should consult qualified professionals for decisions that affect your finances, taxes, or investments.

We do not guarantee that figures in the app are accurate for every situation; they depend on data you enter and your settings.

7. Intellectual property

Liberado, its name, branding, UI, and content (excluding your own data) are owned by WillForge or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Your data (transactions, notes, settings you enter) remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your financial records.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Liberado is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of calculations or backups
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

You use the app at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WillForge and its affiliates, officers, and contributors will not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption
  • Errors or loss arising from backup, restore, sync, or device failure

Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of: (a) amounts you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $50 (or equivalent), if you paid nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WillForge from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the app, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

11. Changes to the app and Terms

We may update Liberado and these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date when Terms change. Material changes may also be reflected in the in-app Terms & Privacy screen.

Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms. If you disagree, stop using the app and delete your local data as needed.

12. Termination

You may stop using Liberado at any time by uninstalling or resetting data.

We may suspend or discontinue the app or features where required by law, store policy, or operational need. We are not obligated to maintain the app indefinitely.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.

Disputes should first be raised at contact@willforge.xyz. Courts in Singapore may have exclusive jurisdiction unless local law gives you non-waivable rights to sue in your home country.

14. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the main agreement between you and us regarding the app.
  • Severability: If one provision is invalid, the rest remain in effect.
  • No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
